Wonder Woman - Comic Con Trailer

There are two things you should know about me:

  1. I love Taylor Swift
  2. I've loved the comic book character of Wonder Woman for even longer

And if it wasn't for Princess Leia in Return of the Jedi, Wonder Woman would have been my first childhood crush.

I'm old enough to remember watching Lynda Carter play Wonder Woman on TV. And as cringy as it might have been - for a long time, shows like that and the Batman (1966) were the only thing that brought comic book characters to life for me and I loved them!

Fast forward a few years to 1989 when Michael Keaton brought Batman to life on the silver screen. It made me start to 'wonder' what other comic book heroes I might get to see on the big screen?

I know that the notion of a Wonder Woman movie has always been kicked around Hollywood. And for one reason or another I'm glad it didn't happen until now. Just imagine, it could have been something like Green Lantern...

Seeing Gal Dot as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was a highlight. And now seeing Gal Dot in a stand alone Wonder Woman movie I can confirm my fears of a steaming pile of garbage Wonder Woman movie have been put to rest.

I think this movie is going to be great. I was personally sold at the poster, though the Comic Con trailer is something else.
