Game of Thrones | S8:E1 Winterfell

After what has felt like an eternity (since Night Gathers was updated...) our much loved Game of Thrones has finally returned to our screens for one final season. Season 8, episode 1 finally brought the majority of our characters to one location - Winterfell.

The Outsider | NG Reacts

Hey you, yeah, you! We’re kicking off a monthly movie club. Sometimes we’re hitting the latest and greatest, other times we’re tackling the classics. The first movie we’re discussing is The Outsider which came to Netflix in March 2018.

A scaredy-cats review of IT

Here's the thing. I'm mostly a giant scaredy-cat when it comes to ghosts, demons, possessions, monsters and evil clowns. Though somewhere, deep down inside me, there is a little glimmer of curiosity and Gryffindor courage that makes me want to test myself to see if I can truly conquer my fears of the horror genre.

Wonder Woman | Review

If you haven’t yet seen this movie, stop reading and go and watch it right now. Seriously, I’ve been to see this movie twice and I honestly think I have to go back to 2012’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ to find a superhero movie as strong as this film.

The Walking Dead - Something they need | Review

The penultimate episode of The Walking Dead Season 7, mowed through storylines and loose-ends like Rick and Michonne driving through zombies with a cable between their cars i.e. it was fast and effective. And, more importantly, a great watch that finally reminded me why I love The Walking Dead (yet again).

The Walking Dead - The Other Side | Review

I feel like 'The Other Side' is the perfect example of a Walking Dead episode that should only ever be consumed with another episode. Because watching it on it's own will probably leave you flat and questioning where your life is heading. Sure some stuff happened, but not really enough to justify a whole episode at this late point in the season.

Logan | Review

I went into Logan a little blind. I’d intentionally only watched the trailer once, which was maybe a year ago, and done my best to avoid any spoilers or reviews online. It was nearly impossible though to not hear this movie was fantastic before heading in - which is always a slightly un-nerving feeling, especially when you want the best but don’t actually know if your views of ‘fantastic’ will line-up with anyone else's.
